Clark interviews actor, dancer, model, and singer Alycia Pascual Peña (“Moxie,” “Saved by the Bell”). Clark asks Alycia about starring in Amy Poehler’s Netflix movie, “Moxie,” and how her personal relationship with activism helped shape her role. Alycia reveals what her own high school experience was like as an Afro-Latina woman from the South Bronx attending a predominantly white school. Clark asks Alycia about finding her Afro-Latina identity at a young age. Clark and Alycia bond over their respective hair journeys, and the importance of having a stylist who specializes in Black hair on set. Clark asks Alycia about her co-star and roommate, Josie Totah. Finally, Alycia shares what is currently healing her mind, body and spirit—her Soul Balm.
